Loved this episode. I tried creating a podcast and gave up on it due to similar reasons that you gave up on your first podcast (too much work and hard to feel progress) Also, I was surprised you said that this podcast had half baked thoughts, they felt very baked and clear to me :)

So many people are shocked when they find out that my podcast actually costs me money to make! There’s definitely this amorphous sense that somehow being a podcaster necessarily leads to making money. 😅

I think it's easy for outsiders to project financial success stories onto the entire population! See, e.g., all lawyers make a lot of money, graduating from Harvard means you're well-off, podcasters make Joe Rogan money!!

I'll be honest with you. I stumbled across this page while lurking SS to see if that platform would be right for me. (TLDR I signed up) But, you're perspective was fresh, your voice is calming, and even though I live in LA, I'm from NY and so I followed your firm. I'm on board and hoping greater success.
